This blog is for survivors, their families, loved ones, caregivers, nurses, therapists and doctors — any and all of the community that gathers around people who’ve had strokes. It’s part of on-going research and writing I’m doing for a book on successfully surviving the devastation that is stroke. It’s about regaining a meaningful life.
In the last twenty years the practice of neurology and rehabilitation has improved the care of stroke patients, making it possible for people to recover and live better lives for longer. The blog and book is about those advancements and how they affect every day people. This is a place to ask questions, make comments and ask for more information. Please do.
